Mark your calendars now and make plans to attend The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival returning to the Jersey Shore June 3rd and 4th at Bader Field. For nearly two decades, the festival has attracted thousands of visitors to enjoy a taste of more than 30 breweries. This year though, the festival is making a grand return with more than 100 breweries and brew masters setting up shop to quench guests’ thirsts.
Presented by Ocean Casino Resort, the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival will host 120 breweries– that’s right nine times the number of previous years– including a number of local spots like Alternate Ending Beer Co, 13th Child Brewery, Angry Dad Brewing, Asbury Park Brewery LLC, Armageddon Brewing, Avalon Brew Pub, Axe and Arrow, Battle River Brewing, Behr Brewing, Belford Brewing, Berlin Brewing Co, Bout The Hops Brewing, and so many more!
And if that’s not enough, you’ll get to sip along to live music as well! After all, the sounds of The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival are one of its most important components, hence why "music" was added to the name of the event in 2011! Check out the list of bands that’s sure to include a few of your old favorites and definitely something new. From the main stage to acoustic stage fun, there's something here for everyone! Keeping you entertained all weekend long on the mainstage will be the Dropkick Murphys, 311, Dentist, Jesse Ahern, Phoneboy, and SensaMotion, and on the acoustic stage, listen for Ryan Zimmerman, Don’t Panic, The Looms, Second Half Comeback, Buncha Scrubs, the Record Keeper, Chris Rockwell Collective, and Friend Hospital.
Once you’ve danced up an appetite, or need a little something to chew on while you sample the local brews, check out the festival food vendors! After all, pairing a beer with some good food has been an art form for centuries. And since tastes may differ, the festival is serving up a variety of fun treats, so we're sure there will be something to whet anyone’s appetite. Organizers did their best to concentrate on brick & mortar Atlantic County-centric culinary names to ensure the guest experience contains some local flavor! Essl’s Dugout will Wholly Bowls, Greens and Grains, Anthony the Weenie Genie, Brotherly Love Cheesesteak Spring Roll Co., Johnny’s Pork Roll, Taco Cat, Jay’s Crab Shack, Ocean Casino and Resort, Chickie and Pete’s, and Tony Boloney’s.
And that’s not all! Since everyone loves shopping, including folks at The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival, the event is home to a colorful variety of exhibitors selling everything from beef jerky to beer steins, cool hats to hop-related items. Finally, consider signing up for the Hops Trot 5K on Sunday morning when trotters will race down the boardwalk and onto Bader Field stopping at some of AC’s finest watering holes along the way. Drink a 2oz beer before proceeding on and through a series of obstacles or loopholes before the finish. Costumes are encouraged. There’s a mini-golf tournament, too! So much to do, and it’s all in Seaview Dolce’s backyard.
