Seaview: A Rich Past for a Wonderful Future

Geist and president Harding outside Seaview, a Dolce Hotel

Seaview sometimes has a knack for attracting rock stars and celebrities. As you walk past the lobby, you will notice the Seaview Celebrity Wall that lets you know who has shared this living space with you. Maybe you’ll be attending a meeting in The Oval Room, where legendary Grace Kelly held her sweet 16; or maybe you’re enjoying a scrumptious meal in The Main Dining Room, where Joan Rivers frequently indulged on her favorite brunch. The Atlantic Meeting Rooms will leave you with great vibes, partly due to the entire Rolling Stones band residing there for a week during their 1989 Steel Wheels Tour. Lounge and relax where the legends did.

Besides celebrities and rock stars, legends from other walks of society also frequented our hotel. It is rumored that Al Capone would test his moonshine on The Coastal Grill’s bar top, between his lunches and dealings. On the other side of the spectrum lies the Hall of Presidents, which is an homage to Warren Harding and other former presidents and important figures who called Seaview home. As you can imagine, over a century of business means an even richer history than mentioned above. Find out for yourself who has shared these halls with you in the past!
